The 7th Andranik Margaryan Memorial - Closing Ceremony

The closing ceremony of the 7th Andranik Margaryan Memorial - Swiss Tournament was held on 16 of January at the Chess Academy of Armenia. 
760 young chess players from Armenia, Nagorno-Karabakh, Georgia and Sweden took part in this memorial. 
The total prize fund of the memorial was 1 500 000 AMD. All the winners of the tournaments were awarded with medals, diplomas, cups and prizes.

As a result of the tournament the following players took places:

A1 tournament – boys & girls under 18
1st place – FM Arthur Davtyan
2nd place – David Santryan
3rd place – Ruben Ishkhanyan

A2 tournament – boys & girls under 14
1st place – Arsen Davtyan
2nd place – Alex Manukyan
3rd place – Hrachik Hovakimyan

A3 tournament – boys under 12 
1st place – Hamlet Brutyan
2nd place – Sevak Manukyan
3rd place – Alen Gevorgyan

A4 tournament – boys under 10
1st place – Rudolf Pashikyan
2nd place – Ervand Ohanyan
3rd place – Hayk Mesropyan

B tournament – girls under 10 & 12
1st place – Tamar Goginyan
2nd place – Hasmik Qochinyan
3rd place – Seda Badalyan

Girl U-18 – WCM Mariam Mkrtchyan
Girl U-16 – Mane Hovhannisyan
Girl U-14 – Astghik Hakobyan
Girl U-10 – Lilit Sargsyan
Girl U-8 – Ashkhen Verdyan
